John Hamilton founded Hamilton Cavanaugh & Associates in 1986 with a goal of providing expert retirement plan services to clients, with a particular emphasis on non-profit healthcare organizations. His vision was guided by three core principles:

  1. unmatched expertise
  2. creative solutions for clients
  3. outstanding service

Prior to starting Hamilton Cavanaugh & Associates, John had a successful career in the Employee Benefits division of Johnson & Higgins, where he was responsible for the growth of their not-for-profit retirement business.  John also worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies helping to design and implement executive compensation plans.

John holds FINRA Series 6, Series 26, and 51 registrations.  He is also licensed for Life, Accident and Health Insurance in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
